Installing Master-Pull Winch Line ...

Just got my new Master-Pull winch line. However, I haven't had an oportunity to use it yet. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.;-) There are a few things I can say about it right now, though. It's light. Weighing in at only 6 lbs, this is considerably less then the original steel line at close to 30 lbs. It's easier to handle - about 200% easier. This line doesn't have the "memory" of the steel line which gets more noticeable the further into the drum you get. Its much easier to spool and handle when off the drum. It behaves about the same as similar sized, simple nylon rope. Which means if you let go of it while spooling it tends to unwind itself. Annoying but not nearly a big enough issue to make me reconsider my purchase! Over all, I'm very happy so far. Granted, I haven't actually winched with it yet, but so far dealing with it has been a positive experience.

Now I need to get stuck so I can try it out! Soon, so stay tuned!
